How we tested

While it’s a good idea to keep the cost in mind at all times, a cheap phone should nevertheless go through the same testing as any other.

In order to test the X3 pro’s endurance under intensive media consumption over extended periods of time, we also looked at the camera setup to see how well it handled various scenarios.

Design

The X3 pro appears to be the most typical low-cost smartphone you could imagine. It has a big screen, a noticeable weight to it, and a hefty appearance. And in terms of appearance, it falls short of comparable Xiaomi phones.

Xiaomi also needs to understand that putting its name on the back of the phone isn’t the best method to draw customers. Granted, it allows other riders on public transportation to see what phone you’re using, but the method greatly detracts from the design as a whole.

Since everyone is aware that Xiaomi produces quality phones, may the text size be reduced by a few points?

Display and sound

When you actually turn on the X3 pro, things get better. The large display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 6 (bonus points), has a brilliant, colourful LCD FHD+ panel that is adequate for this price range and is almost intended for gaming performance, with a potential refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch response rate of 240 Hz.

Performance

You can immediately tell that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset powers the X3 Pro. It is an upgraded version of a former flagship chipset and still outperforms modern low-cost processors by a wide margin.

This phone is faster than any we’ve seen at this level, as the name Snapdragon suggests, and is a safe bet for those gamers looking for an affordable method to play their favourite games. We never experienced the phone overheating even when we used it frequently because to the model’s amazing cooling technology.

Camera

Like the style, the camera is very typical for a cheap phone. However, it still produces respectable shots. In moderate lighting, the 48MP main camera performs admirably and exhibits good levels of colour perception.

Although it struggles in darker environments and is unable to significantly brighten a subject, the X3 pro will do the job if you’re looking for a respectable camera to use sometimes when out and about.

The Xiaomi poco X3 pro is the winner.

“Everything you need, nothing you don’t” greets you as soon as you open the Poco X3 pro’s box. Absolutely correct. Simply put, this is a powerful smartphone at a price that should be much higher.

The X3 Pro is marketed primarily for its gaming capabilities, but many of its features also make it a highly amazing tablet for everyday usage.

The Snapdragon 860 chip guarantees lag-free gameplay, the cooling system prevents your phone from overheating during taxing media sessions, and the display produces vibrant, rich colours with a welcome clarity. Switching between apps is very seamless.
